# Global Trends

Global Trends presents aggregate, time-based analytics across the WhiteIntel corpus. Where Global Search answers questions about a single value, Global Trends provides macro context: how exposure volumes are moving over time and where activity is concentrated.

**Availability:** Refer to your plan for the level of analytics included.

### What it shows

Global Trends is intended as an at-a-glance briefing surface. Typical content includes:

* Headline metrics that summarize current exposure volumes.
* Time-series charts showing how those volumes change across a selected window.
* Breakdowns that highlight where activity is concentrated.

### Reading the charts

Charts are temporal by design: the horizontal axis represents time and the vertical axis represents counts. Use the range and bucket controls, where present, to widen or narrow the window and to change the granularity from daily to weekly or monthly.

Empty leading and trailing periods are trimmed so the visible range reflects the data rather than the full requested window.

### Using Global Trends in an investigation

Global Trends is most useful as a starting point. When a chart indicates a spike or a concentration of activity, move to Global Search to examine the underlying records, or to Your Dashboard to see how the trend affects your monitored assets specifically.
